END OF THE ROAD

I thank Herbert  Müller for a stimulating recent exchange.  I think we have reached the end of the discussion, as we have several times in the past.

<2>

Müller rejects the idea that reality is self-projected.  We only “structure” reality, he insists, decorate the house,  pave the roads, correct the spelling, classify the fauna.  “[W]e create songs, religions and governments, but not toothaches, fleas, or the moon, even though  they too need our structuring” [9].  That is not a statement an ardent anti-ontologist can make without contradiction, but I appreciate how reason hits the wall of instinctive belief.
